Norman is a poet and Zen Buddhist priest. His latest books are Untitled Series: Life As It Is and On a Train at Night.

Stephen’s most recent book is sound of wave in channel, 1,000 poems written on 1,000 consecutive days. Daily poems and photographs appear on his blog, Temporality: stephenaratcliffe.blogspot.com.

Temple Emek Shalom: Poetry Reading

Poetry Reading with Norman Fischer & Rabbi Joshua Boettiger

In addition to the meditation retreat on July 15th, as an extra bonus, Norman Fischer and Rabbi Joshua Boettiger will join in a poetry reading the night before at 8:00 pm at Emek Shalom.

Norman will be reading from his just-out poetry titles: Untitled Series: Life As It Is (Talisman House) and On a Train at Night (PURH, France). Both books will be available for sale on site.

Joshua will open for Norman and read some poems from his just-completed thesis, Without Praise or Blame.
